Financial Aid Scams

It is that “exciting” time of year when seniors and their parents are  applying for financial aid by completing the FAFSA, applying for loans, and filling out scholarship applications.

Along with all of this comes the opportunity for scams to take place.  I came across a great article at Federal Student Aid that is a must read:

Financial aid and the thought of paying for college is stressful enough.  A family does not need additional stressors to deal with.  The one thing to remember is you should not have to pay money to receive money!
