The Lowell Catholic Guidance Department hosted it’s 4th Annual College Fair on October 15th. Growing each year, we had over 35 colleges or universities join us. The college fair is open to seniors who do not go on a college campus tour (over 50% came!), juniors, sophomores, and parents.
Schools in attendance included Stonehill College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Elms College, University of New Hampshire, Emmanuel College, Providence College, Franklin Pierce University, Endicott College, Anna Maria College, Curry College, Johnson & Wales University, New England College, American International College, Dean College, University of Rhode Island, Northern Essex Community College, and Regis College.
Bay State College, Ave Maria College, Lasell College, Rivier University, UMass Lowell, UMass Boston, UMass Amherst, Framingham State University, Salve Regina University, Fitchburg State University, University of Maine, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Lesley University, Saint Anselm College, Suffolk University, Keene State College, Middlesex Community College, Salem State University, Daniel Webster College, and Southern New Hampshire University were also available to greet and talk with our students.
We were also happy to have Universal Technical Institute, Empire Beauty School, and National Aviation Academy join us!
The college fair was a great opportunity for our students to meet with college representatives and learn about schools they didn’t know much about or learn more about a school they were interested in. Opening it up to the sophomores and juniors, they were able to start learning about the different colleges and programs that are available.
The guidance department wants to thank each school for attending our fair and making it a success! We can’t wait for the 5th one and hope it is bigger and better!!!
