Lowell Catholic’s 5th Annual College Fair

This year marked Lowell Catholic’s 5th Annual College Fair, held on October 14th.  When we held our first one, we had only 13 schools.  This year, we had 49 participate!

The college fair is a great opportunity for seniors to learn about colleges they may have not considered, hear about various programs, and make connections with admission representatives.  About 60% of the senior class came to hear more about various schools.  If a senior did not attend, he or she was on a college campus touring.

Since juniors will be ready to apply before they know it, they attend the college fair as well.  Following the completion of the PSAT exam, juniors had the same opportunity to learn more about schools, the programs they offer, and talk with admission representatives.  This is a great opportunity for them to get a head start on researching schools.  Sophomores have the option to attend the fair following the PSAT exam.

  1. The college fair was very helpful when I began looking into different colleges during my junior year! I was able to get a sneak peak of what every college had to offer and that helped my decision! – Caitlin Ernst

  2. Great opportunity for seniors to fully explore their options!! This fair really helped me learn more about the schools I was interested in and allowed me to pick what I hope will be the right fit for me! 🙂
